Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Please leave a margin of one inch and insert page numbers on the bottom right corner of every page.
  • The research paper could be submitted as an e-mail attachment in word file.
  • Research papers should ideally be 4,000 to 5,000 words in length.
  • Notes should be numbered serially and presented at the end of the article. Notes must contain more than a mere reference.

It should be typed in double-spacing and will be printed at the end of the article. All articles, books, and theses should be listed in alphabetical order of author, giving the author’s surname first followed by initials/given names. If more than one publication by the same author is listed, the items should be given in chronological order.
  • References should be embedded in text in the anthropological style as per the 7th Edition of APA.
  • We request all the authors to ensure that their manuscripts are formatted in conformity to these guidelines. Manuscripts that do not conform to the style sheet will be returned to their authors for style correction prior to being sent out to referees for review.
