Managing EditorProf. Manju Singh

Prof. Singh is the Head of the Department of Political Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Prof. Singh has teaching and research experience in field of Political Science of more than 35 years. She has authored three books and contributed more than 40 research articles and book chapters in prestigious academic journals and books. She specializes in Indian Government and Politics, with special reference to Insurgency problem in India’s Northeast Region. Prof. Singh has widely-travelled to present her research in International Conferences abroad and supervised more than 20 PhD’s. Under her leadership PSR has been revived and made regular since December 2020.

Chief EditorDr. Ladhu Ram Choudhary

Ladhu R. Choudhary is an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) of Political Science at the Department of Political Science, University of Rajasthan. Prior to joining University of Rajasthan in 2014, he held teaching position at the University of Delhi’s Aurobindo College; and teaching assistant, for national security and international relations at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.Currently, he is also South Asian Visiting Fellow at Stimson Center, Washington, D. C.

Dr. Choudhary has co-edited a book – Indian Foreign Policy: Identity and Issues. His research has been published in the Journal of Defence Studies, Indian Journal of Asian Affairs, India Quarterly, South Asian Studies and Indo-Pacific Review. His research areas include International Relations Theory, Geopolitics, Contemporary Diplomacy, Nuclear Politics, Indian Foreign and Security Policy and Military Strategy.

Dr. Rahul Chaudhary

Dr. Rahul Chaudhary is Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science in the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has author of twelve research articles in UGC approved/ Peer- reviewed journals & chapters in edited books and authored a book on Contemporary Political Theory. Dr Chaudhary has traveled to Europe, U.S. & Australia for presenting his research. He is a Board Member of Research Committee on Quality of Democracy of International Political Science Association (IPSA) & life member of Indian Political Science Association.

Dr. Priyanka Arya

Dr. Priyanka Arya is Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Political Science , University of Rajasthan.After graduating in Honours from Miranda House, University of Delhi, she completed her post-graduate studies from university of Rajasthan. Her research work focused on the politico-social impact of power sector and functioning of Discoms on Indian farmers. Currently she teaches western political philosophy and political theory at undergraduate and post-graduate level. She holds memberships of IPSA and IIPA, Delhi. During the course of teaching period, she undertook special studies in Moral Philosophy from Yale University. Apart from presenting research paper at International Political Science Association conference held at Brisbane, Australia, she has publications in International, National and Care journals. Dr Arya is a coordinator with Rajasthan State Election Commission and regularly organises programmes for electoral literacy for undergraduate students. She has worked as course co-coordinator with HRDC, University of Rajasthan and is engaged in organizing conferences under University Leadership Programs for Department of Political Science, University of Rajasthan.

Prof. Sanjay Lodha

Professor Lodha is a veteran political scientist. He is an academic advisor at MG Institute of Governance and Social Sciences, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He is a former Head the Department of Poltical Science, Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Prof Lodha is state-cooordiantor of LokNiti of the CSDS and other important international and national research projects. He is also secretary, JANBODH – Institute for Social and Cultural Research.

Prof. B. M Jain -

Prof Jain is an authority on discipline of international relations. He is author and proponent of the Geopsychology Theory of International  Relations. Prof. Jain has contributed his research in various internationally known journals and Editor-in-Chief of Indian Journal of Asian Affairs.

Prof. Lilianan Popescu 

Liliana POPESCU is Professor Dr. Habil. at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) Bucharest and presently Vice-Rector. She holds a Ph.D. in political theory (University of Manchester, 1996). Liliana was adviser to the minister and head of the Policy Planning Unit within the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998 – 1999). Her publications include the books: The Construction of the European Union. Bucharest: Ed.C.H.Beck, 2009. Gender Politics. Bucharest: Ed. Maiko, 2004. Individual Freedom and Political Manipulation. Bucharest: Politeia-SNSPA, 2003. She is founding editor of The Romanian Journal of Society and Politics (since 2001), contributor to Foreign Policy Romania and Balkan Insight. Liliana Popescu has a long history of pioneering in the area of civic and public campaigns in the area of gender equality and diversity acceptance. She initiated and co-organized the first civic protest against domestic violence in Romania (April, 2000).

Dr. Happymon Jacob

Happymon Jacob is a New Delhi-based academic, columnist, and commentator. He is an Associate Professor of Diplomacy and Disarmament at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Prior to joining JNU in 2008, he held teaching positions at the University of Jammu in J&K and Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi; and research positions at the Centre for Air Power Studies, Delhi Policy Group, and Observer Research Foundation. Happymon is an elected member of the Pugwash Council since 2013. He is the author of Line on Fire: Ceasefire Violations and India-Pakistan Escalation Dynamics (Oxford University Press, 2019), and Line of Control: Traveling with the Indian and Pakistani Armies (Penguin Viking 2018). His concurrent engagements with the Indian media include a column with The Hindu and hosting of a weekly video show on national security on The Wire India. He is passionate about breaking down the walls between policy and scholarship and bringing together academia and practice.

Dr. Arun Vishvanathan

Associate Professor at the School of National Security Studies, Central University of Gujarat. Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor in the International Strategic and Security Studies Program at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore. He holds a doctorate in International Relations from the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. Prior to joining the NIAS, he held the position of Assistant Director in the National Security Council Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office in the Government of India between 2008 and 2011. Before this position, he was an Associate Fellow at the Indian Pugwash Society, IDSA Campus in New Delhi for three years (2005 to 2008). 

Vishwanathan specializes on issues related to nuclear deterrence and strategy, Chinese and Pakistani nuclear weapons and missile capabilities, proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology, as well as nuclear safeguards and verification of nuclear disarmament.

Dr. Vinay Kaura

Vinay Kaura is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Affairs and Security Studies, Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Rajasthan, India. He is also an adjunct professor on the Program on Terrorism and Security Studies (PTSS) at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Germany. Besides, he is an alumnus of the NESA Center, National Defence University at Washington, DC.

His current research interests include Afghanistan-Pakistan relations, counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency, conflict management and resolution, India’s foreign policy and the geopolitics of Indo-Pacific. He is particularly interested in how political and cultural perspectives shape approaches to national security and foreign policy.

Dr. Amrita Jash,

Dr. Amrita Jash is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in Manipal, India. She holds a PhD in Chinese Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She was a Pavate Fellow at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Jash has been a visiting fellow at the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge, a UGC graduate fellow (2012-2017), a researcher under the Harvard-Yenching-Nanching Programme (2015), a researcher under China’s Ministry of Commerce (2014), and a US-India-China Initiative fellow at SAIS, Johns Hopkins University (2013). In 2019, she received a commendation by the Chief of the Army Staff General Bipin Rawat for her contribution to the field of Chinese Studies at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies. Her research interests are:  China’s foreign policy, the PLA, security and strategic issues in India-China and China-Japan relations as well as the Indo-Pacific.

Dr. Gazala Fareedi

Gazala Fareedi is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, Southfield College, Darjeeling. She holds a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, on the topic, ‘Mediatization of Diplomacy: A Study of India’. She has authored several articles focusing on Indian Public Diplomacy and Soft Power, in journals such as World Focus, and the International Journal of Research. She has also published numerous online commentaries focusing on diplomacy, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and India-Nepal relations.
