About the Journal

Connections for Sustainability Journal (CSJ) is a trans-disciplinary quarterly journal of the Remote Connections for Sustainability (Netherlands). Each issue of the journal integrates articles, case studies, expert opinions/interviews, thesis, book review, letter to the editor, artworks on topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a mission to generate & share knowledge and connections towards social-ecological sustainability.

The journal wants to contribute to the development and dissemination of the SDGs through contributions of scholars, policymakers, independent thinkers, the business world, civil society organizations, citizens, and other stakeholders from around the globe which is also reflected through the journal’s editorial board.

Several features make CSJ unique from a global perspective. SDGs are a roadmap to achieve a healthy, prosperous, and fair future for all. For this reason, Inclusiveness is a key value of the Journal who wants to give the voice to a vast audience: leading scholars who can contribute to the dissemination of the knowledge through their research, practitioners who can share their know-how and experiences, citizens who can witness how the implementation of the SDGs are impacting our lives and artists who remind us that our most valuable resource for achieving the SDGs is our creativity. CSJ is also unique with its purpose is to create global connections through knowledge serving as a global platform for sustainability where ideas from diverse activities like policy, research, advocacy, education, capacity building, and more are curated, communicated, and contested; further making possibilities for new partnerships and collaborations.

CSJ is developed in partnership between IndraStra Global (USA) and Remote Connections for Sustainability (Netherlands). Other partners such as Universities, NGOs, Companies, and other institutions will be regularly invited to co-organize the Journal according to the topic analyzed in each number.
