The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is set during the last years of the Han dynasty and the turmoil between warlords that followed, resulting in the division of China into three states. The book is known for its unique blend and is considered a masterpiece due to its unforgettable characters, epic battles, and enduring impact on Chinese society.
